One notable aspect I observed about Mexican women is their impeccable outfits and the way their makeup was done. I was fascinated by how they used makeup to enhance their beauty, but what truly intrigued me was the impact on lashes on making their eyes appear so alluring and intense; I wanted to communicate through both makeup and lashes and become that empowered woman myself.


I have naturally downward-facing eyes which often led people to ask questions like: Are you sad? or making remarks such as "You have sad looking eyes". Initially I didn't grasp why they would say such things until I matured and began scrutinizing my facial features more closely. That's when it dawned on me I have -I simply have downturned eyes.
